Treichler’s Mill Playground Update

Due to the continuing deterioration of the playground equipment at Treichler’s Mill Park, the Board of Supervisors made the decision to remove the playground equipment before it became dangerous. The good news is that the Supervisors have secured a $67,095 grant for a brand new modern play station and amenities. The grant is a Local Share Account Grant funded by the Commonwealth of PA through the Commonwealth Financial Authority. The Township will work diligently to get the equipment replaced with the grant funds but a timeline has not yet been established as we are awaiting guidelines for bidding and construction associated with the grant.
